Real Madrid to challenge for AC Milan’s top target
AC Milan want to close a quick deal for Florian Thauvin who is a wanted man on the market, even from Real Madrid.
AC Milan intend to move in advance in view of the next summer transfer window. Paolo Maldini and Frederic Massara have put several targets in their sights.
Among them is Florian Thauvin, whose contract expires in June 2021 and can already sign for another team. However, like other soon-to-be free agents, there is competition for his services and it is not always easy to agree on wages and commissions to be paid to agents. The Rossoneri management are negotiating with Thauvin to reach an agreement as soon as possible.
The Marseille star is 28-years-old and has the right qualities, as well as considerable experience, to be an excellent reinforcement for AC Milan’s attack. He is the right winger that Stefano Pioli is currently missing. Although Castillejo and Saelemaekers deserve praise for their contribution, neither of them have the dangerousness of Thauvin in front of goal.
However, other important clubs are also thinking of him. The right winger has demands from the Premier League and La Liga. In recent weeks, Sevilla and Leicester City have expressed interest and now Real Madrid have joined the race.
Mundo Deportivo reports that Florian Thauvin is in the orbit of Los Blancos for next season. The right winger has been in fine form this season scoring 7 goals and assisting 9 in 31 appearances.
